This policy explains how Rapid Ride Delivery Service Inc. (“Rapid Ride”, “we”, “us”) handles information collected through this website, including our quote request, contact and shipment tracking tools.

It does not cover information we handle when providing transportation services under a separate customer agreement, or information collected by third-party websites linked from this site.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, send an inquiry or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• your name, job title and company name;
• business contact details such as email address and telephone number;
• pickup and delivery locations, dates, freight descriptions, dimensions, weights and special handling notes;
• any other details you include in your message.

Most of the information we receive is business contact and shipment information. Please don't include sensitive personal information in form messages.

Shipment tracking

When you use the tracking tool, the tracking or shipment number you enter is sent to our systems to retrieve the shipment's status. We use it only to return that status to you.

Website and technical information

Like most websites, the servers that host this site automatically receive standard technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, device information, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes;
• plan, arrange and follow up on requested deliveries;
• communicate with you about your request or shipment;
• operate, maintain and secure this website;
• keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through this website for purposes unrelated to the reasons it was provided without your consent, unless permitted or required by law.

We use trusted service providers to operate this website and our business, for example to host the website, deliver form submissions by email, and run the systems we use to dispatch and track shipments. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services for us.

We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, for example in response to a lawful request, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

Some service providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

The “Customer Login” link takes existing customers to a separate customer portal operated by a third-party provider. Information you enter there, including your customer number and password, is handled by that portal. It is not collected by this website.

This website may use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for the site to function, such as remembering settings during your visit.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy to describe them and how you can manage them. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

We keep information submitted through this website for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to you, maintaining business records and meeting legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw consent to further use where applicable, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
